    Grand Stevie Award winners announced in the 2022 MENA Stevie Awards

    MENA Newswire: It was previously reported that VakifBank was the Grand Stevie Award winner for Organization of the Year with 34.5 points. They instead receive the second-place award for Organization of the Year for the second highest number of points in the Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards competition. The Stevie Awards have announced the Grand Stevie Award winners in the third annual Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards. Grand Stevie winners will be presented their awards at a gala banquet at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah Hotel in UAE on 21 May.

    The Middle East & North Africa Stevie Awards, sponsored by the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, is an international business awards competition open to all organizations in 17 nations in the Middle East & North Africa. This year more than 700 nominations were considered in the judging process by more than 100 professionals, whose average ratings determined the Gold, Silver & Bronze Stevie Award winners announced earlier in March.

    In addition to the Gold, Silver, & Bronze Stevie Awards, the top winner overall (total number of points conferred by total gold, silver, & bronze Stevie wins) & the highest-scoring nominations are awarded the Grand Stevie Awards, which cannot be applied for directly.

    The Organization of the Year Award went to Emirates Health Services UAE who earned 62.5 award points for innovative achievements in COVID-19 Response, New Health Products, Human Resources Management, & more. The organization won 12 Gold, 8 Silver, & 7 Bronze Stevie Awards. The EHS was established with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of the federal health sector in the UAE.

    The second place for Organization of the Year Award went to VakifBank, Istanbul, Turkey earned 34.5 award points for the bank’s innovative achievements in remote customer service, human resources, social media, & more. The organization won 9 Gold & 5 Bronze Stevie Awards in the 2022 competition.

    The highest-rated Nomination of the Year award went to “The HOPE Consortium World Immunisation & Logistics Summit 21” event, in a nomination submitted by the HOPE Consortium, Abu Dhabi, received the highest average score from Stevie Awards judges (9.4 out of 10) in this year’s competition. The nomination won the Gold Stevie for Innovation in Government Events. The HOPE Consortium is one of the largest & most integrated logistical efforts of its kind to deliver hope & vital vaccines to the global community.
