    IsDB confirms it is ready to fund Iraqi strategic projects

    It has been confirmed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in Egypt that it is prepared to finance strategic projects in Iraq as well as develop human resources for the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) and the Ministry of Finance regarding financial matters. As it was recently reported, CBI deputy governor participated in the recently concluded annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

    IsDB confirms it is ready to fund Iraqi strategic projectsA delegation from the Central Bank of Iraq and the Director General of the Iraqi Fund for Foreign Development in the Ministry of Finance participated in these meetings. CBI Deputy Governor held several meetings with officials and institutions of IsDB to increase their contributions to various projects for the public and private sector in Iraq. Likewise, a delegation from the Central Bank of Egypt arrived in Baghdad on an official visit to discuss prospects for cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq and to exchange experiences in a variety of topics of mutual interest.
